So, on the evening of Christmas Day, I saw an unidentified object in the night sky. I went to let the dog out some time around 8:00 to 8:30 PM. I immediately noticed a BRIGHT orange object high in the sky… it looked almost like it was burning, and it was WAY brighter than the rest of the stars in the sky. It was moving across the sky West to East. It was South of me, looked to be over Lake Ontario, but it may have been even further, it was pretty high up.
It continued to “glow” orange, but got dimmer as it moved it’s way across the sky. Then it suddenly stopped moving, and simply stayed in place. It remained there for a period then started fading until it disappeared. It was the strangest thing. As soon as I saw it I called out to Tanya, and she came out and saw it too. We had a lively discussion as to what it could possibly be…. Meteor? Comet? Asteroid? Burning aircraft? I still have no idea.
…and I know what everyone is going to say: “Oh, you saw Santa” or “Maybe it was Baby Jesus shooting across the sky”. Well it wasn’t either of those things…. it was weird, and unidentified, and flying. Not really sure if it was an object tho.
I want some of what you had that night.
Maybe it was Crom?
